It is with great pride and enthusiasm that we present the Buckinghams live performance
at The Star Plaza in Merrillville IN. It has become one of our favorite venues over the last
20 years. More then anyone we would like to thank our audience for returning year after
year to make our performance at The Star Plaza so special.
"KIND OF A DRAG" - "DON'T YOU CARE" - "MERCY, MERCY, MERCY"
"HEY BABY, THEY'RE PLAYING OUR SONG" - "SUSAN"
All hit the top ten nationally and THE BUCKINGHAMS were proclaimed a Pop
Phenomenon. Television appearances on Ed Sullivan, Jerry Lewis, Dick Clark's American Bandstand,
The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour, Nashville Network's Classic Rock with
Wolfman Jack, and PM Magazine, as well as extensive coverage in various
popular magazines, confirmed THE BUCKINGHAMS' stardom.
Their succession of hits led them to being named
"The Most Listened to Band in America" in 1967.
