The Buckinghams continue to bring good music with this new CD from one of the Midwest's most successful groups. Their vocals are as entertaining as ever and the new songs penned by Carl Giammarese are wonderful.

Man, those modern day Buckingham guys get around huh?---and so, yet more wax released--but even though it ain't wax no mo, it's still what's in the grooves that counts right?---(hey, the grooves are there--you just have to look close).

Along those lines, I was proud of the job "these" guys did in terms or recreations where necessary, and creations in general for that matter, especially considering the focus of this album--

Nice to hear my old buddy Nick diggin' in on everything---I also think the drummer does the best Jon Poulos imitation possible, outside of his own obvious talents--But let it not be overlooked-- that IS a talent in itself, trust me on that one.

I think my favorite recreation is "You Misunderstand Me"---not 'cuz it's my tune--It just has it's own trueness somehow---it has the band's "today" conviction, and also accurate harkenings of the past stuff, and the "old guys", of which I am one--Carl made it his own thing vocal wise too.

A salute to all the keyboard parts here as well---and to all the players-- and so, I say, play on on Nick, Carl, Tom, Bruce and Bob!!--May many ears relish your efforts!!

Kind Regards,

comments: Dear Carl,I was at your concert tonight at the Buffalo, Hamburg Fair Grounds. Your concert was wonderful and brought back all the good memories of when we heard you at Disney a few years ago. We bought your new CD and love it and so do my birds! I was the one that was telling you how much our birds enjoy listening to your music as they try to whistle along.Your concert was just what I needed tonight. I was supposed to be on vacation in FL, but due to upcoming knee surgery next week, I had to cancel my whole vacation. I've been really bummed because of it and knowing I had your concert to go to gave me something special to look forward to. It was just what I needed to get my mind off things, have a wonderful evening and enjoy some of my favorite music from one of my favorite bands. THANK YOU for coming to Buffalo! We'll be watching the web site so we can buy the Christmas CD as soon as it is available and definitely watching for more of your concerts here soon.Thank you so much for taking the time to do the "Meet and Greet" after the concerts!
Sincerely,

comments: Carl, I had the great pleasure of seeing the Buckinghams at Northbrook Day's last evening. I had such a great time and it sure brought back alot of memories for this almost 54 year old! 54 years young! My friend and his wife all sang along. The music holds up so well. I cant images some of todays groups still touring 40 years from now. You have an incredible strong voice. The rest of the group were fantastic. I felt 14 again, very nostalgic. Thanks for signing an autograph for me, hope the Buckinghams will be back at Northbrook Day's.
