Hi Carl,First of all, I have adored the Buckinghams ever since the song "Susan." I recently saw your group play at South Barrington's Arborteum grand opening.The evening I spent with you was a "trip through time." I grew up on your music.The songs of Gary Puckett, Tommy James, and the Grassroots were also popular when I was in high school. Not too hard to figure out my age! Ha!Anyway, when you asked if there were any Susans in the audience, I was right up next to the stage, giddy as ever. I jumped up and down and you reached down and recognized another "Susan" by taking my hand. It was a moment.
I recently had to order "Reaching Back" and I simply can't stop playing it.The classic horns and background vocals blend together to create more "magic" music. I especially like "Love is You" and "Here We Are." Thank you, Carl, for keeping your music alive and fresh. You guys are the best!
